Meal planning and buying only the items on the list has saved us a ton of money on our grocery bill. The day before I go grocery shopping, I meal plan for the following week and know exactly what to put on my list (in addition to the items we ran out of). If I run out of soya sauce on a Tuesday night, I’ll add it to the list so I remember it come grocery day. I print out a stack of them once every few months, and have them sitting in a drawer in our kitchen.Įach week I pull out a new blank list and have it tucked beside my fridge, adding to it as things pop up.
